1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Thinker platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Thinker is an AI-powered platform for writing, research, and structured thinking. It provides document editing, AI-assisted research, and project management tools. Features and availability may change over time.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the service.
• One person or entity per account. Sharing account credentials is not permitted.

4. Free tier and billing

• Each account receives $3.00 USD of free AI usage per calendar month.
• Additional usage requires a paid subscription (Starter or Pro plan).
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are listed on the platform and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
• Unused free-tier allowance does not roll over. Unused paid credits carry over while your subscription is active.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via the Stripe billing portal.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.
• Remaining paid credits are preserved after cancellation and can be used if you resubscribe.
• Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@trythinker.com within 14 days of a charge to request a refund.

6. Your content

• You retain ownership of all content you create on the platform.
• You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the service.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's operation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. AI-generated content

The platform uses third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude) to assist with writing and research. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thinker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
